"Do You Smell This?" explores the dynamics of coexistence. Global challenges, such as the war in Ukraine and climate change, fundamentally question our way of living together. What resources are available to us, and how much do we have?
Drawing from the journey of performers Manuela Luterbacher and Sara Koller through the Caucasus, the performance also examines the dynamics of small group living as two individuals. This sensitive and vulnerable endeavor developed day by day during their five-week journey from Bern to Yerevan, where they traveled solely by bus and train.
How do I handle disagreements with others? Do I end the conversation and distance myself to stay true to my principles? How can we create a way of living together that is acceptable to all and allows everyone their space?
